Real Image Media Technologies has announced it is the official distributor in India for Side Effect Software’s Houdini, a family of animation software which offers digital artists power, flexibility and control based on award-winning procedural technology.
Real Image is the only distributer in the country for the whole family of Houdini products including Houdini Master for VFX, Houdini Escape for animation, the Mantra - renderer, as well as the command-line Houdini Batch. The company will also be distributing educational versions of Houdini to institutions that want to introduce a procedural workflow into their curriculum.
The Houdini software's comprehensive feature set includes modeling, rigging, animation, particle effects, dynamics, compositing, integrated rendering, and more. It is available for the Mac OS X, Linux and Windows operating systems.
